米国とウクライナは2021年12月の国連決議においてネオナチ賛成投票

 

The 76th session of the UN General Assembly 国連総会にて、 ロシアが提出した「ナチズムの賛美、ネオナチズムおよび現代的形態の人種主義、人種差別、外国人嫌悪および関連する不寛容を助長するそのほかの慣行とのたたかい（the Combating Glorification of Nazism, Neo-Nazism and other Practices that Contribute to Fueling Contemporary Forms of Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance Resolution）」（参照） と題する決議案が2021年12月16日に通過（参照）。

The Assembly next took up the report on “Elimination of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance”, containing two draft resolutions. By a recorded vote of 130 in favour to 2 against (Ukraine, United States), with 49 abstentions, the Assembly then adopted draft resolution I, “Combating glorification of Nazism, neo‑Nazism and other practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance”.

賛成は130か国、棄権49か国、反対は「アメリカ、ウクライナ」の2か国。アメリカの同盟諸国で賛成したのは世界で唯一、イスラエルのみのようだ。 ロシアが発起人になっている理由は、ウクライナにおいてネオナチ協力者ステパン・バンデラを英雄として讃美する事態への警鐘が何よりも主因であろう。 Russia has long taken issue with Ukraine and the three Baltic states – Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia – honoring individuals and organizations affiliated with Nazi Germany during the Second World War. ※参照　上の話を取り上げている「ナチズムやネオナチズム他、あらゆる人種主義に反対する国連決議にアメリカとウクライナが反対！日本とドイツは棄権！」というYouTube 映像は一般の人にはかなり傾向的ーー反米イデオロギー的ーーと取られるかもしれないが、私の少ない知（この一月半ほどのあいだで知った内容）では反論できる要素がない。

この決議は9年前から毎年やっているそうだから、特に目新しいものではないようだが、私はまったく知らなかった。 私は昨日、弁護士の方が次のツイートをしているのに行き当たって、いくらか調べてみる気になった。 何はともあれ、直近の2021年においての「ネオナチ等や人種差別に反対する国連決議」に対して米国とウクライナのみが反対しているのである。反対の反対、つまり賛成と扱う他ない。
