イランに関する初期情報としては、私はまずこの3人を信頼するんだがね、

すなわち、テヘラン大学のモハマド・マランディ( Mohammad Marandi)を中心にして、ぺぺ・エスコバル(Pepe Escobar)とスコット・リッター(Scott Ritter)。

ま、でも当面静かに見ているよ。ここではぺぺのツイートだけを掲げておくが、今後これだけで済む筈はない。

日本のみなさんの関心事はまずはホルムズ海峡と紅海（バブ・エル・マンデブ海峡）の封鎖だろ？

で、原油はどのくらい高騰するんだろう、日本だけでなく世界経済は持つんだろうかね。もっともロシアは原油が高騰すればウハウハだがね。

The insistence of the US and its allies on ensuring the safety of the usurping regime serves as a cover for their lethal policy of changing the [Zionist] regime into a tool for seizing all the resources of this region and using it [that regime] in major global conflicts. イランの基本認識はイスラエルは米国の狂犬に過ぎない、つまり米国がイスラエルに支配されているのではなく、イスラエルは米国の操り人形に過ぎないというもので、巷間の通念とは異なる。

つまり「イスラエル政府がアメリカをコントロールしている」というジェフリー・サックスの言っているような通念とは違う。

要するにイランリーダーの認識は、ぺぺの師匠筋に当たるマイケル・ハドソンの認識だね。

Well, to U.S. diplomats, what you call the support of Israel is really the support of the U.S.’ ability to militarily control the rest of the Near East. It’s all about oil. America is not giving all this money to Israel because it loves Israel, but because Israel is the military base from which the United States can attack Syria, Iraq, and Iran and Lebanon. So it’s a military base. And of course, it can frame this in terms of pro-Israeli, pro-Jewish policy, but this is only for the public relations view of the State Department. If American strategy is based on energy in the Near East, then Israel is only a means to this end. It’s not the end itself. And that’s why the United States needed to have an aggressive Israeli government. You can look at Netanyahu as being, in a way, a U.S. puppet, very much like Zelensky. Their positions are identical in their reliance on the United States against the majority of their own people. So you keep talking about America’s support of Israel. It’s not supporting Israel at all. It rejects the majority of Israelis. It supports the Israeli military, not the Israeli society or the culture, have nothing to do with Judaism at all. This is pure military politics, and that’s how I’ve always heard it discussed among the military and national security people. So you want to be careful not to be taken in by the cover story.

別の言い方をすればーーサックスやミアシャイマーもそうだが彼らの見方に近づけて言えばーー米国を支配しているのは、まずは米国内のイスラエルロビーだが、さらにはその背後にいる金融資本家が米国を支配しているのであり、つまり米国政治を支配しているのはマネーだ、という捉え方だ。

Israel has bought the U.S. Congress through its campaign contributors. But there’s a circular flow. Congress will give aid to Israel. Israel will use some of the aid it gets to pay back into the lobbying effort to pay the congressmen. So everything, some portion of whatever they give Israel ends up in their own pockets. That’s the circular flow we have, thanks to Citizens United and related things. So you’re having a whole system that is so dysfunctional that I think a lot of American voters think there’s nothing we can do. The system is so corrupt.
